Originality: All submissions must be original works. You must own or control all rights (or have clearance) to music, footage, and third-party content.
We prioritize documentaries that:
Tell stories about people affected by the criminal justice system
Offer fresh perspectives on the criminal justice system
Demonstrate a clear point of view and strong narrative arc
Are culturally, socially, or politically resonant
Format: ProRes, H.264, or uncompressed MOV
Audio: Stereo or 5.1 mix; fully mixed and leveled
Captions: English subtitles required if the film contains non-English dialogue; closed captions encouraged
